Developed by Hades and adc for the UDC Jam 13 and the DOS Games Jam in under nine days. Inspired by Alone in the Dark developed by Infogrames/Atari SA.

An unknown nameless ship has struck the coast of a remote island, it's origin, purpose and structure remain shrouded in mystery, with the only few willing to investigate either run out of cowardice or get consumed by whatever force resides in the ship. You play as a daring skeptic on his way to unearth whatever horrifying secrets lie within the surface of the ship. Whether he will survive is up to you.

THIS GAME IS PLAYED ON A KEYBOARD (no mouse controls) AND CONTROLLERS FOR BOTH XBOX AND PLAYSTATION.

The models for the game were made using Crocotile 3D by Alex Hanson-White. Download the software at https://store.steampowered.com/app/1244040/Crocotile_3D/

HINTS:

  • Don't run all the time.

  • Read the Tutorial in the main menu.

  • This game uses tank controls (it plays like the old Resident Evil) by default, but you can change the control type from settings.

  • The eye icon indicates whether you're being detected.

  • If enemies are nearby, walk or wait until you can't hear them anymore.

  • Turning off lights makes you harder to detect. If you're spotted but the eye icon isn't red yet, toggle your light but be careful. If the eye icon is red, run and look for a hiding spot (to hide: open inventory and select action "Hide" and then interact with a locker)

  • You cannot interact with objects while the Action is set to HIDE or PUSH/PULL mode, you have to set your Action to INTERACT in the inventory.
